Hi there! I'm Kate Miller, founder of city + cedars style studio.  I've always loved home decor and decorating.  I was lucky enough to grow up in a very creative household, with my Mom taking me along on frequent visits to the local wallpaper and fabric shops; and my Dad spending his free time drawing and painting in his art studio.  I loved being surrounded by these creative juices and watching their visions come to life!  So no doubt I forged my own creative career journey right from the get-go, right?!  Nope!

I spent 25+ years working as a Production Operations executive in cable and streaming television.  I worked on too many shows to name, met some fabulous celebrities, launched a streaming app and designed several state-of-the-art production studios. Most significantly, I had the pleasure of meeting, working alongside and leading so many wonderful people.  And when that journey came to an end, I knew it was time to follow my passion!

After graduating from the New York Institute of Art & Design, I created city + cedars style studio so that I could spend my time doing what I love: decorating and helping people (throw a rescue dog into the mix and I'm in heaven!)  

I'm here to help clients refresh their space in any way, shape or form, big or small.
